2019 Tour for Compassion, Conservation, and Rescue
"Worth More Alive!" was our 2019 Shark Week non-profit campaign to help shine a positive light on Sharks and Pitbulls! This campaign ran through Shark Week and ended on August 30th, 2019. 100% of the proceeds (which came out to be $550) were donated and split between two amazing non-profits; Sharks4Kids and Pinups for Pitbulls
A little about this design (by Sharktopia): Lexy's bandana and the yellow background are both elements of a subtle nod to the World War II wartime poster produced by J. Howard Miller in 1943 for Westinghouse Electric as an inspirational image to boost female worker morale. In the 1980s, the "We can do it" image was used for protests, the fight for women's rights, and other political campaigns. Even today, this iconic 'strong woman' is used for self empowerment and speaking up for women around the world. These elements seemed to be quite fitting for Lexy.
